Suggest Treatment For Severe Fever And Headache In A Child
He s 8 years old and have been running a fever of 103.2 since I pick him up from school at 10 this morning. Have babe him down in cold water and gave him Ibprophen. It went down to 102 but continue to stay at 103. His face and hands are red. His head hurts also. What else can I do?

I really appreciate your concern, high grade fever needs anti-pyretic "Acetaminophen" is drug of choice with ice water sponging but important is underlying cause of fever and that requires investigations, and clinical examinations hope this information helps.
