Suggest Treatment For Severe Eye Pain

I have a 7 year old boy who walked into a coat hook yesterday and needed two stiches in the eyebrow area. He is now complaining that his other eye really hurts. I do not see anything in the eye and it is not red or runny/teary. He says that it hurts worse when he closes it. Suggestions?

Hi dear..Your little boy is certainly in a lot of pain.I suggest he needs to continue the antibiotics he has been put on.Brufen can help relieve the eye ache in the other eye. You can also try placing cotton soaked in cold water and place it over the non injured eye.No other management is required.
I hope this answers your question.Take care.
