As per your complain severe pain in ears can be due to causes like excess wax buildup, ear infection, foreign body impaction inside the ear,perforated eardrum etc.. Infections and perforation in eardrum can cause loss of hearing too, therefore you should seek expert advise soon.. I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngolgist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like otoscopy, x rat,MRI etc can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly.. You can be advised a course of antibiotics, like Augmentin, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, decongestant like Phenylephrine and decongestant nasal sprays containing Xylometazoline or Oxymetazoline..
