From what i understand after going through your question, you are most likely to be suffering with Acute serous Otitis Media (ASOM) ASOM is a middle ear infection just behind ear drum. Pus build up in the middle ear causes severe throbbing pain. some patients experience pain in the whole side of that particular ear.. The pain is soo severe that it makes your jaw opening and very chewing painful. If this is left untreated, the pus build up might rupture your ear drum leading to holes in it.. i understand it sounds scary bt ear infection can be treated in the early stages to avoid complications.. I were your treating doctor, i would have suggested you to take an antibiotic like Augmentin 625mg ( amoxicillin + clavulanic acid), Tab. Hifenac-p (for pain) twice daily for five days. As these medicines are prescription based i would sugget you to consult an ENT specialist and get the treatment as early as possible.. hope my answer helped.. have a good health.. thank you..
