Suggest Treatment For Severe Diarrhea

I have had diarrhea for the past 36 hours. I also had it last week while on vacation in NYC. It is very unusual for me to have a problem with this. I heard on the news there was a problem with bottled water...e-coli and one of the states was NY. I am wondering if this could be my problem and what the test is for determining e-coli. I did seem to be better when I first came home on Sunday, but it started up again yesterday morning.

For treatment of severe diarrhea you can take some antibiotic preferably oflox-oz or zifi-oz after an expert advice along with cap omez-d or cap rekool-d empty stomach at-least one hour before meal. You can take nitazoxanide twice daily for at-least 5 days to get rid of diarrhea completely with cyclopam or meftal-spaz if abdominal pain is present. Maintain the hydration of the body by taking plenty of oral fluids or ORS which ever is available.

Hey, I have reviewed your query.
2 things. Firstly to determine what kind of bacteria is causing your problem, you can get stool culture test, its where you give your stool in a container for test.

And as far as your diarrhea is concerned I think you are suffering from travllers diarrhea. You should use Ciprofloxacin 500mg once daily for 3 days.

Use ORS and soft diet for 3 days. It should get better.

Get well soon.
