General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Sorry to hear your baby has been suffering this long. Given the duration of the diarrhea and given that you have tried so many things including antibiotics, I will suggest you to see the doctor for a stool exam/culture with antibiotic sensitivity test.

Also, the child should be evaluated for dehydration and if the case, the doctor may judge if hospitalization with IV fluid and ions replacement may be considered. Severe dehydration may have more serious consequences on the infant if neglected.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mbuomboh Veranso
