It seems like your wife has
Bipolar disorder. She needs both medications as well as
counselling. Regarding medications, you should see to it that she takes the medications as prescribed by her doctor without fail. She also needs cognitive
behavioral therapy. Consult a clinical
psychologist who will help her with tips to cope up with depression.
Some of the tips i would like to suggest is
1. Ask her to do regular exercise atleast half an hour per day
2. Make her socialize with people, family and friends. Strong family support is utmost important. Be very patient with her
3. Make her develop some good hobbies- music, sports, reading books
4. She should keep yourself busy. An idle mind is devils workshop.
5. Make her learn
meditation techniques.
6. Follow this regularly for 21 days. It is said that anything you practice regularly for 21 days becomes a habit
