Suggest Treatment For Severe Dandruff And Itchiness On The Scalp

Hi Sir, I am 26 years old male.I have dandruff and itching problem for last 6 year.Once I had undergo treatment for this issue and had been taken medicines for 3 months but still it exists.And also i have used so many dandruff shampoos.Please give me a solution to overcome this problem and also give me tips for maintaining hair.Thanks in advance.

Hi,

It seems that you may be having seborrheic dermatitis. You consult dermatologist to have firm diagnosis and perfect treatment.

I would suggest as follow...

- steroids in tappering dose
- antifungal
- antihistaminics
- application of steroid with salicylic acid lotion
- shampoo with ketoconazole containing shampoo

This might clear your problem after few weeks treatment. Please have patience.
