Suggest Treatment For Severe Coughing, Chest Pain And Wheezing
I had what I believe was a virus about a month ago and I m still coughing...A lot...it s productive. My chest also hurts. I also have some wheezing. I ve been a little more tired than usual. Because it s been so long, could it be a type of pneumonia?

While a cough and wheezing are many times caused by viruses, however, viral infections do not persist for more than a week.
A productive cough that's lasts more then a week needs proper assessment and evaluation.
You are right this may well be pneumonia, but there are other possibilities like Tuberculosis, COPD, etc.
So it's very important to be evaluated. I would advise you should go to your doctor, get an X-ray chest and then to proceed accordingly.
