Suggest Treatment For Severe Cough With Excessive Phlegm
Hi, I am 64 yrs old and have been taking Alphamox 500 and Metrogyl 400 for the last 3 days for a severe gum infection and also a tickling cough due to phlegm running down the back of my throat . The pain has improved considerably but the cough got worse due to more phlegm. The medication is now upsetting my I stomach and I feel headachy. Is there anything I can do to relieve my stomach upset like any food I could eat that s medication friendly? I have still got four more days to go. Maria

This stomach upset is due to metronidazole you are taking it cause gastric irtitation..change in taste...for stomach upset take tab rabeprazole 20mg in empty stomach for 7days...take orange juice it improve s immunity .. so you can recover faster...get well soon ... any doubts write to HCM...Dr.Paparaja S MBBS MS
