Suggest Treatment For Severe Cough In A Child
Hi Doc, my son is coughing up small, white solids, small white spongy feeling material. his throat feels spikey no other symptoms apart from headache but not sure if that is related. he is trying to cough up this white stuff,which is the size of a pin head, some slightly bitter

cough is reflective of some thing in the lungs and some times heart.
Investigations
medical exam tonsils. nostrils any sounds in the Chest crepitations fir pneumonia wheezing for bronchitis/ asthma. transmitted sounds.
Chest X ray
Ful haemogram for any infection in the throat tensolitis
ASOT For streptococal infection
Depending on the results
Anti cough syrup
Antibiotics
anti allergic
Consult paediatric chest physician of no improvement.
