Suggest Treatment For Severe Cough And Nasal Congestion

my daughter is 20 months old and has had a runny nose, nasal congestion and cough for several days, she is also getting very horse....I looked at her throat tonight and was shocked to see a large white bulge that looked like it was sticking up from her throat as if she had food sticking up that she hadn t swallowed....it is not on the back or side of her throat, it almost looks as if its a growth on the back of her tongue. I m very concerned, do I need to take her to the ER tonight or wait to see the pediatrician tomorrow?

Noted the history about your daughter.
20 months- runny nose, congestion, cough, hoarse voice, - large white bulge at the throat - like a growth at the back of tongue - Wants to know .

I would advise you to take her to the ER to get whatever preliminary problems and investigations be done like MRI of the neck and so on.
Get an appointment of an ENT as this looks to be a Laryngocele or a Pharyngocele.

Proper diagnosis will lead to a proper treatment.
