Suggest Treatment For Severe Chills And Hand Tremors

My husband has been experiencing severe shaking, chills for several days now. He is freezing and shaking. The only relief he has is taking advil every couple of hours. After his shaking, he will start to perspire like crazy. He calls them severe chills. The doctor called in a Z pack that he has been on for two days. He cannot stop these chills. This has been going onto the fourth day now.

Hi welcome to HCM...

Here your husband having periodic fever with chills and perspiration ...

So malaria and dengue fever has to be ruled out first in which antibiotic has no role .
For that PS examination with malaria card test and IG M testing for dengue has to be done .

If negative than viral URTI can be cause .
But investigation with CRP , CBC needs to be done ...

If needed throat swab can be taken...

If abdominal pain associated than widal test done for rule out typhoid.

According to cause treatment given..

Meanwhile drink more water and take rest...

Advise : consult physician for examination ...
