Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Since your
cholesterol, heart beat are normal, possibility of cardiac cause for chest pain is less.
GERD (
gastroesophageal reflux disease) is likely cause for your symptoms.
It is due to laxity of gastroesophageal sphincter. Because of this the acid of the stomach tends to come up in the esophagus and cause the symptoms of chest pain after eating and on lying down position.
GERD is common in patients with depression and obesity. So GERD is more likely.
Treatment is
proton pump inhibitors. Avoid stress and tension. Avoid hot and spicy food. Keep 2-3 pillows under head in the bed to prevent reflux.
For
weight loss, avoid fatty and oily food. Do regular
aerobic exercise like swimming, cycling and jogging.
Don't worry, you will mostly improve by all these.
Hope I have solved your query.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
