Suggest Treatment For Severe Chest Pain Along With Tightness

I'm 28 yrs, 5ft 7inches tall and i weigh 72kg. I'v been having severe chest pain and tightness and very often, i belch. Occasionally i get cold chills in my chest. I consulted a doc. and he prescriced cinex, gascol and albendazole which i'v been taking for about three days now but still no relief. What do u think is wrong with me, and what would you advise?

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, you are mostly having GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease).
It is due to laxity of gastroesophageal sphincter. Because of this the acid of the stomach tends to come up in the esophagus and cause the symptoms of chest pain, chest tightness, pressure, belching, burping etc.
Along with drugs, you need to follow these lifestyle modifications for better symptomatic relief.
1. Avoid stress and tension.
2. Avoid hot and spicy food. Avoid junk food.
3. Avoid large meals, instead take frequent small meals.
4. Quit smoking and alcohol if you have these habits.
5. Keep 2 - 3 pillows under head in the bed to prevent reflux.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
