Hi my daughter is having severe chest congestion and wheezing. In the past the doctor has adviced duolin and in severe case he has said to give a combination of duolin buedocort al9ng woth ns for nebulisation. What frequency can i administer this dosage of the situation is severe?

Recurrent episodes of wheezing can be due to asthma or allergic bronchitis. So better to get done PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) and chest x ray. PFT is needed for the diagnosis of asthma or allergic bronchitis. Chest x ray is needed to rule out lung infection. She may need regular treatment with inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid, so that such acute events can be prevented. So better to consult pulmonologist and discuss all these, first diagnose her and then start appropriate treatment.
