Suggest Treatment For Severe Back Pain

My back hurts to the point that I m shaking and my legs are tight and cramped. I m only comforted by laying on the floor. I m a mason by trade and can t afford not to work. What can I do? Lower back more one side than the other and if I move to quickly in certain directions it takes my breath away and leaves me in a cold sweat and light headed for a minute.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Warm compresses to the back to relieve the tension in the muscles, anti inflammatory pain killers and the use of a muscle relaxant may help.

Anti inflammatory pain killers include medications such as naproxen, cataflam, ibuprofen.
Eg of muscle relaxants are flexeril, soma, robaxin

You should consider visiting your doctor to find out the exact source of the pain.

I hope this helps
