Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that due to sudden blow there has been a traumatic injury to the toe and there can also be injury to the ankle due to trauma leading to pain and swelling..
In case if you are not able to put weight on that feet, it can be due to bony
fracture..
Swelling can be due to accumulation of inflammatory fluid and blood in the soft tissues..
I would suggest you to consult an Orthopedician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like x ray can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..
In case if there is bony fracture reduction and immobilization using casts and splints can be done.
In case if there is only
soft tissue injury anti inflammatory painkiller like Advil or
Motrin,
muscle relaxant like Chlorzoxasone can help..
Apply cool compresses over the swelling..
You can apply
analgesic and muscle relaxant ointment and tie a crape bandage or an ankle brace.
Elevate your leg while lying down..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
