Suggest Treatment For Severe Acne

Hello sir / Madam... i have been having acne problem since 2012 since then most of my Doctors prescribed me isotretinion but now i have discontinued the drug but since my acne is even getting worse then before thos new doctor that i have consulted prescribed me tablet Omnacortil 20mg . please tell me if it is even safe to take it because i went through google and its a steroid i have even read the side effects which im even scares me more to take it . I am 28 yrs female and my weight is 54kg. please suggest me .

I agree with you that Omnacartil 20mg (prednisolone) can have long term side effects. But I would suggest you to use it for very short duration of time say less than 1-2 weeks. A short duration of treatment is less likely to have any long term effects.
Once the acne eruptions come down, prednisolone dose will be tapered down and finally discontinued with the introduction of isotretinoin or oral antibiotics.
Do discuss the above points with your doctor in your next consultation.
