Suggest Treatment For Severe Acne On The Face, Neck And Chest

i have noticed for some time i have some sever acne coming up on my face , neck and chest . mostly on my face. they bumps are huge and tender but are one that can be squeezed. i use an anti-inflammatory cream and it reduces it after a couple day and leave scaring....please help!!! what are they and how can i get rid of them?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe acne on the face, neck and chest . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like hormonal changes , excessive sun exposure , allergic reaction and oily skin . The acne can also occur due to side effects of certain medicine . I would suggest you to wash your face , neck and chest area with soap containing salicylic acid twice a day with cold water , after washing face apply cream containing azelaic acid twice a day . If condition doesn't get well then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics ( clindamycin ) along with retinoids , anti inflammatory and coerticosteroid cream . Do not apply any cosmetic product or steroid cream . Also apply ice pack to reduce itchiness .
