Suggest Treatment For Severe Abdominal Pains In Kid

My 10 year old daughter has been experiencing severe abdominal pain when hungry for 2 days. She has no other issues-no vomitting, diarrhea, or constipation. She bends over in pain and then it gets better after eating. The pain is not waking her up at night

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi! Good morning. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.

I feel that her abdomen to be examined clinically apart from any investigations like an ultrasound, a CBC , a stool test for ova and cyst and a urine routine test to reach at a conclusion. Further management would depend on the reports of the investigations.

I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.

Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. I wish you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
