Yes, I had constapation last night and went to the hospital at 5 AM with severe abdominal pain. Ater 8 AM I was catherized which showed over 700 mL of urine removed. I had hard stool and was then given an anal treatment with water and magneseum etc. 5 minutes later I had 4-5 severe B.M. What a relief! I was released about noon and given a perscription for Flomax as the doc was concerned about my blatter. I was also given a referal to an uriologist who I intend on making appt. with tomorrow. MY PROBLEM NOW IS: when I go to urinate it feels very painful (stabbing sensation). A few drops come out and then I shut it off because of the pain. It s been 4 hours since the catheter was removed & the Rx closed before I could p/u the Flomex. Should I be concerned? [ No blood in urine, I doubt if there are stones...but who knows, I never had them before].
