General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
This is a rare congenital condition, wherein the separation of the skin cover of both the organs has not been completed.
This is going to be minor operation; because the skin of both the organs is supple, too much stretchable and easily amenable.
So go for surgery at the earliest possible date so that the area is normalized better at the very young age.
Since the patient is just 22 months so there is not going to be any memory of the condition, operation and after effects.
Go for it.
