Suggest Treatment For Semi Wet Cough And Metallic Taste

I had a fever of 103 two days ago. Treated with advil + Tylenol. I don't have a fever anymore but have had a hacking semi-wet cough that produces a metalic taste coupled with an inability to take deep breathes. Any advice? Thank you so much. (Cough, Cold has changed a lot but has been present for over a month)
