Hello,

You had a sebaceous cyst on your back removed by minor surgery. Presently, it is fine but you are experiencing pins and needles in the hand they injected anesthesia to knock you off. Do continue to take antibiotics and analgesics that you have been prescribed by your treating doctor. Get the wound cleaned and dressed every alternate day for faster and better healing.

Pins and needles that you are experiencing is because the nerve injury due to prick by injection. You are suggested to get it clinically examined, if the injury is deep you may require treatment so that it does not cause long term complications like being unable to work, RSD (reflex sympathetic disorder), or complex regional pain, etc.

You may be referred to a neurologist for further management. In the mean time take diet rich in vitamin B6, B12, folate to help repair the damaged nerve. You can also take supplements. Apply ointment Soframycin on the affected area for relieve. Stay away from addictions if any.
.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi,

We can wait for another week. It's just that you know that they had done it on that hand, so you're feeling it. You can apply Thrombophobe LA over the bruises that happened. It will reduce. Do consult if you have any other issues.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
