Hi,

Mumbling to oneself or preferring solitude is common in the elderly and need not necessarily mean that the person has schizophrenia. Sweating is in no way related to a diagnosis of schizophrenia. Even if he has schizophrenia, there are no hoe remedies. He will need treatment from a psychiatrist.

Best wishes.
