I have a scar in the lungs for almost 6 years, and now I am planning to work abroad like singapore in a hotel..my question is that is their a possibility that in my medical xray they will consider me having a scar?can I still treat my scar in my lungs?thank you
See once a scar in the lung it will remain as it is. Its a healing process. You may have TB or pneumonia in the past and once it healed leaves this scar mark. So in my opinion go for CT thorax. This will tell more about activity of the disease. And for your visa purpose they may refuse your visa due to this scar as a active TB lesion.so just get done bronchoscopy and BAL analysis and if this is negative than you can assure visa faculty about not having active TB.
