If the vein has ruptured then it will get clotted. You need not do anything, just apply Compression stockings Class II on the affected limb to keep the veins under control until you opt for surgery or laser treatment of the same. Alcohol or Aspirin are not indicated for the treatment of Varicose veins, please dont use them. You can use Daflon tablets 500mg twice daily. Why do your veins get ruptured - is it because of injuries or spontaneously? Do let me know and get a Color Doppler of the limb to know the stage of your Varicose veins to decide further treatment. Feel free to let me know the results and decide upon best treatment.
Take care,
Dr Rishi, India.
