General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome.

It sounds like a sprain or ruptured muscle tendon, nothing rest cannot set right. I recommend a lot of rest, ice packs, and mild non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for about 2-3 weeks. Stop gyming for a while and do not lift any heavy objects. However, I would although like to recommend an ultrasound of the lower abdominal region and an ultrasound of the testicles just to make sure all is well and a hernia is ruled out.

Best wishes.
