Suggest Treatment For Rocky Mountain Spotted Tick Fever
Seven months ago, I had a quadruple bypass. Everything went great. I am a 60 yrs. old Male, a diabetic. After about 3 week of bad headaches, I ve learned that that I have ROCKY MOUNTAIN SPOTTED TICK FEVER. What kind of chances do I have to beat this thing. I really need some feed back. I am really worried. Oh by the way, I can t type too fast.
Treatment for Rocky Mountain spotted fever involves an oral antibiotic known as doxycycline and you should start taking the antibiotic as soon as the diagnosis is suspected, because delay in treating the infection can lead to significant complications.
The goal is to begin treatment as soon as possible, ideally within the first five days of infection.Incase of delay,iv antibiotics and iv fluids may be required.Complications are less when treated early.
Hope that was helpful.Let me know if i can assist you further.
