Hi Thanks for posting on HCM Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic inflammatory disorder that can affect more than just your joints. It is an autoimmune disorder that occurs when your immune system mistakenly attacks your own body's tissues. There is no cure for this condition. When treatment starts early, remission of symptoms is very possible.Treatment options may include: -Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs can relieve pain and swelling -Steroids -Disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs) like methotrexate, leflunomide, hydroxychloroquine and sulfasalazine -Biologic response modifiers like abatacept, adalimumab, anakinra, certolizumab, etanercept, golimumab.... -Myorelaxants -Physical therapy -Surgery You may see Rheumatologist for best treatment options.Your Rheumatologist will choose options depending on the severity of your symptoms and how long you've had rheumatoid arthritis. You may however try the following: *Exercise regularly *Apply heat or cold *Avoid stress Hope this will help Best regards
