Suggest Treatment For Renal Cortical Cyst

Sir, I have Bilateral renal cortical cyst, found during scanning. The result reads. .both kidneys are normal in size, site and contour, right kidney shows lower pole cortical cyst 5.7cm and left kidney shows lower pole cortical cyst 5.1 cm, movement with respiration is normal, ureters not dilated, no perinephric collection What is the treatment for this cysts? Is it a major problem?

Hi,

Renal cysts are quite common. It does not cause any major problem especially if there are only a few.

There is some possible complication that can occur like an infection but are not common.

You should not worry, just have another scan later on, to keep an eye on them. No treatment is needed. Rest of the scan is normal as your kidneys and all structures are normal.
