Suggest Treatment For Renal Cell Carcinoma

I have renal cell carcinoma. My left kidney was removed in 2000. Part of my right kidney was removed in 2008. November 2014 follow up showed tumour on right kidney(inoperable),tumour on left adrenal gland, tail of pancreas and few spots in lungs. I have been on clinical trial since December 2014 but now have bleeds from the kidney. Do I have remaining part of kidney removed and will I have ok lifestyle on dialysis ?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the unilateral renal cell carcinoma withhistory of one side nephrectomy and partial tumor removal over otherside indicates significant disease stage. Palliative measures are only way to give some sort of relief and improve quality of life in this terminal stage.
- Chemotherapy
- Radiotherapy
- Immunotherapy
- Inj. Erythropoietin for chronic anemia support
- Multi vitamins and minerals, anti oxidants
You must refrain from smoking (active as well as passive) at any cost.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
