Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

I recommend performing a cervical spine MRI in order to be sure that this is just a disk herniation and exclude possible discitis or infection. In the meantime, I recommend taking Pregabalin for the pain and holding a cervical collar. It is important avoiding weight lifting.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
