Suggest Treatment For Redness In The Eyes

I am getting red eyes at work while I work on a computer. I am taking hay fever medication and tried hay fever eye drops but they still get red. I also wear new glasses that help my vision. My optometrist prescribed fleurometholone eye drops when selling me the glasses. This resolved the redness but now the drops have finished my eyes still get red. What can I do to clear the redness as it s getting very noticeable

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It seems to be some allergic inflammation of eye.

For that topical antihistaminic drop can be prescribed. Wear glass while driving two wheeler. Avoid constant eye strain work like constant TV watching or constant work on the computer.

Check your refractive error number by an ophthalmologist.

I suggest you consult an ophthalmologist for checking refractive error and for slit lamp eye examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
