Suggest Treatment For Red Swollen Area On Arm After Bitten By A Bug
My daughter has had a bug bite on her arm for several days now. She has scratched it and picked at it, and yesterday she noticed a red streak swerving out from the bite. The bite itself is warm to the touch, red and swollen. What could the red streak be?

Hi,
In my opinion, this is a bug bite which has now infected. If I was your treating doctor, i would have given an antibiotic like amoxyclav, Anti allergic syrup like atarax, paracetamol for fever and mupirocin cream for local application. The dose of drugs depends on weight of child, so you can consult your local doctor or you can revert back to me with exact weight of child. I hope this has helped you.
