Suggest Treatment For Red Itchy Rashes On The Back And Upper Arms

red itching breakout on back and upper arms. Tested with strips on my back and the only allergy appears a mild allergy to sawdust. Not around sawdust. The medication I take is VT2 1 time a week and amlodipine besylate 5 mg once a day. Dermatologist had not answer. What can I do next or what questions should I ask on my next visit? I do have glomerial nephritic syndrome. Any ideas?

Hi,

It is an allergic rash. It may be related to sawdust or any other allergen. It can also be related to any item used in bath like soap. If found then change to other soap or oil.

You are also taking amlodipine that shows you are having hypertension. May be using other medication so you may inform all the name for verification. You are having glomerular nephritis. What medicine you are using for it. Send details of treatment. if any medicine is suspected then it can be changed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashok Kumar Dash,
