Suggest Treatment For Red Circle On Lower Legs

My son is 23. He was a red circle spot on his lower leg near the ankle and a small bump right above it. He is also complaining about pain in the groin area on both sides. This morning he had temperature of 103 but it is down to 100.9. Could this be a blood clot? I know that this is rare for his age but he did start taking Ritalin 1 week ago and dont t know if this could have anything to do with it?

Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I cancluded that you may be having cellulitis in leg just above ankle as you are having as you are having fever. You need antibiotics to resolve it. Analgesic such as ibuprofen is reducing pain. You may need incision and drainage operation if it does not resolve by antibiotics. You can discuss with your Doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any further questions then don't hesitate to writing to us . I will be happy to help you.
