Suggest Treatment For Red Bump On The Underarms

A couple days ago I woke up with a red bump under my left arm pit. I treated it antibiotic ointment and saw a little reduction but a day later I woke with several more bumps. They are red and some what painful at times. I ve been washing well, taking benadryl at night and Advil. They have gotten smaller but still red, still hurt and still there. Any ideas?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello.. most of the times oral antibiotics covers the infection. but if it is not covered then there are two possibilities. resistance to that antibiotics and disease is not common infection. It can be Skin Tuberculosis. for that u need antibiotic sensitivity test and also a test for tuberculosis. as you have not mentioned about your territory, I cant say whether Tuberculosis is common over there or not.
