Suggest Treatment For Red Blisters On The Arms And Legs
I had taken doxicicline the last week of August, but was in the sun over labor day weekend and my feet and arms turned all red blister on big toe and little watery red spots on arms and legs. I went inside and did not expose my body after a painful night. Only took antibiotic for6 days. But the redness and spots seem to not go away what should I do
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of red blisters on the arms and legs which seems to be due to hair follicle infection by bacteria and as sebaceous glands are abundant there so clogging of skin pores by bacteria, debris and dead decaying substances.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to maintain cleanliness of area and keep it dry. You should take diet rich in multivitamins and apply betnovate cream 2-3 times a day. You should apply topical antibacterial ointment mupirocin on it. Avoid touching or pricking it. You should apply vitamin E Oil at night as well. Wear loose clothes. Take oral antibiotic course as well. Visit dermatologist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
