Suggest Treatment For Red And Painful Bump On Buttocks

I have a red painful bump Inbetween my butt cheek and gooch area. I have tried squeezing it and it is very painful when I do so. I have not felt it or noticed it till today when I woke up. Is this something that I need to see a doctor for or will it just go away?

Probably you have the skin infection like furuncle or folliculitis if it contains pus. It is hard to suggest the diagnosis without seeing. Skin infection sometimes requires no treatment if small in size and situated more superficially. But large and deep situated abscess may require drainage and antibiotics. It may be something other than skin infection. You should cobsult your doctor for proper checkup and treatment.
