Suggest Treatment For Recurring Swollen Tonsils

I have had swollen tonsils about 4 times in the past 2 months. I am miserable. Im not a doctor person at all! Hate going to er/doc office. I have been taking antibiotics for over a week now and nothing is helping. Should I just wait to go to the doctors office, or head to the er. I need these things removed before I go crazy!!! Thanks for the advice!

Thanks for asking in healthcaremagic forum
Start salt water gargling and take plenty of fluids along with anti inflammatory and antibiotic drugs for relief. If you have recurrent tonsillitis then tonsillectomy may be considered. So, consult ENT specialist regarding this. All the best.
