Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Can you share the blood report? This can be a viral upper respiratory infection also. Anyhow she is on antibiotics- so if she is otherwise playful and taking well orally, we need not worry now. Just continue antibiotics, as it will take 48-72 hours for antibiotics to act. Give her plenty of fluids and a soft diet. Let her take some rest also. If no relief by 72 hours, or if she becomes lethargic and not taking feeds, kindly take her back to doctor.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
