Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Seizures

My daughter d.o.b 05-sep-2015 suffered seizures twice (one on 09-june-2016 and another on 10-june-2016) of approx duration 1 min each. Child neurologists had prescribed valprol-dosage 2ml twice a day and carnisure-dosage 2ml twice a day. The medication is still continue. Since then she didn t show any signs of seizures till date. Kindly suggest that for how long the medication is to be continued.

Hello,
Thank you for trusting HCM

Once the child is seizure free for 2 years, the anti seizure medications can be slowly tapered down and stopped.

Hope this answers your question
