Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Acne Break Out

I am 21 years old in a constant battle with acne. Just this past week I have had an itchy chest and will break out in 3-4 small white heads every day. My aunt broke out with shingles one week ago and now i am not sure if I have chicken pox or if it is just a bad breakout of my acne.

Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic

I think the breakout on chest is from acne. Acne lesions van affect chest, shoulder and back in addition to face.
Chicken pox won't erupt just remain localized on chest. Chicken pox usually involves almost the entire torso, face and proximal extremities within a day or two.
Therefore, lack of eruption of new lesions elsewhere on torso is certainly not in favour of chicken pox.
Moreover, the lesions of chicken pox are fluid filled. Whereas acne can be painful, red and pus filled.
