Suggest Treatment For Recurrent UTI Infection

Hi there. I have just gotten my second UTI in the past month. Is this normal? Are there ways I can cure this at home and further prevent them? I have been told to urinate after sex and have been doing so within ten minutes each time, however I m not sure if there are further steps to take.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Recurrent UTi could be due to cystitis and stone in urinary tract.
Other factor like diabetes, poor immunity and improper hygiene aggravate the infection.
I would suggests consult the urologist and go for urine culture and antibiotic sensitivity, USG scan.
Doctor will give following advises:
Antibiotic according to culture report
Prophylaxis sptran can be used for few months
Tablet nitrozolium and syrup cital
Maintain proper pelvic hygiene by using V vaginal plus wash
Drink plenty of water and juice of cranberry, orange and pineapple
Empty the bladder after sex
Do not delay in empty the bladder.
Repeat the urine test after the completion of treatment to confirm the clearance of infection
Hope this may help you
