Suggest Treatment For Rectal Itching

after using procto-glyvenol for 2 weeks, I started itching on my rectal area and around it. I immediately stopped using it. Did it caused the itching and rashes?

What can I do to treat the rashes? i'm a little afraid cause it's starting to spread to my genitals

Hi,

You can try a simple barrier creme containing zink (over-the-counter). If that does not work, you should be seen by your doctor to be checked for a fungal infection. Also, if you have diarrhea without fever, try bulking agents (psyllium seeds, etc.).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anders Mark Christensen,
