Suggest Treatment For Raspy Cry In An Infant

My 7 week old son has a very raspy cry for 3 days now. Today is sunday and i just had him back to the dr friday andt hey said he was fine and no congestion in his chest just a stuffy nose still. Ive been using saline drops, putting him i n a steamy bathroom and a humdifier. Now he has a very sad raspy cry, not coughing thought...i breastfeed so first im wondering whats wrong with him and second if i take large am.ounts of vitamin c will it pass thru thr breastmilk and help him?
