Suggest Treatment For Rashes On The Arms And Torso When Diagnosed With Lupus

I ve had lupus for about 3 years and just recently had a rash that covered my arms and torso. I didn t get a chance to go to the doctor because I was on vacation. My joints were hurting a lot at night. It is gone and I was searching for rashes from lupus but pictures online have been severe. Are there any mild rashes from lupus?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* There can be various reasons for rashes on arms and torso with a history of lupus as underlying bacterial, viral infection, flare up of immune response to Lupus or else.
* As the management depends upon the underlying cause, I would quote an immediate consulting with your family physician without delay.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
