Suggest Treatment For Rashes On The Arms And Legs

I have had a rash for over a week. it appears then disappears but feels like still there beneath skin. not a lot of them. on arms, hand leg feet. I take bendryl for itching. and have used a cream antibiotic used for ticks. was concerned it might be scabies but a rn in family said didn t no. its unusual it disappears on surface and returns. on surface there are some bumps and bites at times look like mosquito but few under skin surface. don t think been exposed but volunteer in soup kitchen facility for homeless but not in contact with them personally only in rehahab setting.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history you are having urticaria, my treatment advice is -
1. Avoid fast food and food with artificial colors for 2 months.
2. Don't take any medication without consulting a doctor as it may worsen the condition.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on lesions when they appear.

If problem persists then consult a dermatologist.

Thanks.
